[NU Sports] insult to injury

In many circumstances persistence is a virtue.

You claim that
1. NU faculty are "PC police"
2. That this has limited the money that the AD can budget for a basketball
coach

I've challenged you every time that you have thrown this out to back this
baseless assertion with facts beyond your own imagination. So far I haven't
seen any.

Many faced with that sort of challenge would either dig up some facts or quit
making the claim.

You on the other hand appear to possess that special quality of persistence
which suggests that if you continue to repeat something long enough, it will
become fact. I admire that and I promise to continue to celebrate your
special talent with these sorts of responses because I'm persistent too.

If someone askedd Knight about taking th Northwestern basketball job today,
his advice would be the same. I remember a story in which Calhoun told NU
that the way they were running the program they would never be successful The
only way the program can be turned around is is the board decides to pay such
big bucks to get a top, well known coach to come in that the faculty PC
police have a stroke.. But, that is what it is going to take.
