Nicely done. Stories like this and all the pub are more reasons why bowling, anywhere, is better than not (read an Illini FB story lately?).
I was most impressed by Fitz's "I'm not here until midnight" comment, frankly.
I have long been repelled by the idea, popularized by Dick Vermeil, that football coaches have to work 18 hours a day, sleep in their offices, etc. Gentlemen, it's a GAME. It is not terribly complex, no matter idiots like Bill Callahan will try and tell you.
Overemphasis on work leads to (in a worst-case) things such as Andy Reid's kids being on drugs; they had no family life as Daddy was always at his office. Look what happened.
Fitz's priorities in life are in the right place. He'll succeed because of it. I admire him even more now.
