Excellent article on Fitz in today's Trib that I thought everyone, whether in San Antonio, Chicagoland or the rest of the Purple and White land would enjoy:? http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/college/northwestern/chi-28-northwestern-football-patdec28,0,4960212.story.? I must confess I especially liked the Coach's references to those who inspire him the most, although I have no doubt some of my fellow Listers will not appreciate the political statement that is made.? I wouldn't have figured Fitz to be a Bam man.

To those down on River Walk, I just watched the Pep Rally and other festivities on the NU Sports.com web site.? I wish I were there, but I am glad for those of you who have made it and hope those who are struggling to get out of the snowy Midwest make it in plenty of time for the game.

On another note, Coach Hankwitz's stock went up again today, as Coach Bielema again saw what he hath wrought by pushing out that defensive guru.?? Fitz can thank Bielema on Monday night if (when) we get win number 10 and bowl win number 2.? Wisky ain't too frisky without Coach Hank.? I am looking for a monster game from our D-Line, as John Gill and Corey Wooton look to impress the pro scouts, and with Vince Browne back, the depth is much better.?
