Before you head down to San Antonio for the Wildcats' Bowl Game, please join
us at the 2008 Valero Alamo Bowl Reception at Pinstripes Bowling, Bocce &
Bistro in Northbrook on Tuesday, December 16 from 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.  For
only $30 you can eat, bowl and play bocce ball with the Football Team for
two hours. We also ask that you bring a coat or unwrapped toy to be donated
back to the community. 

 

Please RSVP to Carolyn Fleming in the Football Office at 847.467.3708 or
c-fleming at northwestern.edu by December 15 to guarantee your spot at the
reception.  Fans can also stop by on the day of the  event if space permits.
Be sure to bring cash or check that day for $30 made payable to Northwestern
University. Pinstripes is located at 1150 Willow Road in Northbrook. 


VOTE FOR COACH FITZ FOR COACH OF THE YEAR! 

Coach Fitz has been selected as a Division 1A finalist for the 2008 Liberty
Mutual Coach of the Year Award.  This award, which is being presented with
the support of the National Football Foundation and the College Football
Hall of Fame, celebrates responsible coaching and a commitment to excellence
both on and off the field. 

If Fitz wins this award, he will receive $50,000 for his favorite charities,
$20,000 for our alumni association, a personal trophy, and recognition in a
permanent Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year exhibit at the College Football
Hall of Fame in South Bend, Indiana.
