To follow from Royko ,when Roman Pucinski turned down an appointment to the 
House of Rep to stay on as Alderman, and no one in the country, outside of 
Chicago, could understand why--Royko said something to the effect that those folks 
obviously didnt understand Chicago politics and how alderman could line their 
pockets in Chicago
