And THIS is where our anger should be directed - not at San Antonio and their wonderful bowl (albeit in a so-so stadium). Crappy Tampa and their crappy hangover bowl on New Year's morning has snubbed us twice now.

Forget them. As I've said, Florida is a humid, stormy swamp of a place anyway. I'll take central Texas any day (though I'm still bummed for no Phoenix).

I will disagree once again - San Antonio is a great place for a bowl. Everything's nice and close to the Riverwalk area. The weather is perfect. The scenery is picturesque. And the people are great.

Aside from the indoor stadium and game, I quite enjoyed the trip there last time.

You HAVE to be kidding! San Antonio is -- by far -- the most diverse major city in America and the choices of restaurants reflects that. Plenty of authentic Tex-Mex and salsa specialties. Really, you're kidding with the salsa, right?

I think Mizzou has a great offense, but I'm not sure they're excited to be there and probably won't bring a ton of fans. Okie State, however, would have filled the place in orange and is probably even more explosive. If we play our game, I think we'll be right in the thick of it and hopefully we can find a way to contain Chase enough to win. Gotta be aggressive on offense though.

We should be angry that the Outback snubbed us yet again, but don't direct the anger at San Antonio. It's a great setting for the bowl and has welcomed us twice now. Hopefully we can get a lot of purple in the stands, give 'em a great shootout game and WIN. That will get more respect next time than anything.

BTW, NU and Mizzou are both ranked. Iowa and SC are not. Choke on that, mates in Tampa!:)
