I don't have the stats at my fingertips, but weren't Pete Carril's teams consistently at the top in free throw percentage ?? Was Carmody out sick the day Carril mentioned that aspect of 'The Princeton Offense' ?

Watching the Florida State game it is apparent that Carmody is incapable of
teaching players how to shoot free throws. If NU had been able to make at least
60 percent of its free throws the game would have been a blow out. The inept
free throw shooting will cost NU a lot of Big Ten games. On the plus side it
looks like we have the nucleus of a decent team for a change.
