We're clearly not a real athletic team and had big troubles getting shots off in the first half--they were stuffing shots before they even left fingertips. That's going to be a problem against a lot of teams I fear.

I missed parts of the second half, but from what I did see, NU came back with a nice team effort, and played more to their strengths. The benefits of having some size for a change was obvious in the rebounding totals. 

The team certainly gave a lot of effort, and has some guys who can shoot. That combination can take you a ways. 

Should be an interesting year. I'm not ready to say it will be a successful year after just watching one game, but I am intrigued to see what these guys will do.
