There you go, Alan...

Flogging your book deal.

<G>

I loved your column on the Evil Empire, BTW. I switched between that debacle
and the really wild shootout [some call it Bedlam] between OU and OSU.
Oklahoma is usually the better team, but nobody in Norman seems to be able
to convince the Aggies, [no Cowboys], to accept that fact. This year OK-A&M
[no OSU] is that good and it was a lot of fun to watch Patton's O-Line hold
up against the Cowboy rush.

The Aggie reference is to irritate any Oklahoma State fans out there who
remember the old "Aggie" days in Stillwater. I used to belong to the Norman
Kiwanis club which had one Aggie as a member. He had a ranch south of town
that had 8 or 9 stock tanks [it was that big] that were stocked with
different fish - the Kiwanis guys were invited down there once a year to try
their luck. Most never made it past 3 ponds since the distance between them
was so great.

OK A&M became Oklahoma State back whenever, but there are still some old
Aggies writing checks to OSU.

Wish we had a few more alums like that.

Hi, everyone,
I was fortunate and privileged after the Beijing Olympics to be asked to
work on Michael Phelps' book. It's called "No Limits: The Will to Succeed,"
by Michael with me.
Attached is a copy of the jacket so you can see what the cover looks like.
The book goes on sale everywhere Dec. 9. (Borders, Barnes & Noble, Amazon,
etc.) Be sure to order lots and lots for Hanukkah/Christmas/whatever!
Hope you enjoy reading. The project has been a great thrill.
 - Alan
PS: I asked for, and received, OK from Mr. Nolan to post this message to
the group. Here is the Wildcat-related content: Matt Grevers is in the book.
