Nice 2nd half, and when was the last time we gave up 62 yards in one half?
If Hahn would have wrapped up the ball carrier after Sutton's early 3rd Q.
fumble, it may have forced a Syracuse FG attempt, and we give up no TD's.
Bacher completed passes to 10 different receivers, and I counted (3)
drops. I was disappointed that Peterman didn't do better, but he'll have his day
soon enough. As one poster pointed out, when Bacher stopped forcing it into
Brewer, he looked a lot better. BTW, Peterman and Brewer both had dropped
passes, hopefully a casualty of first game excitement.
The interior play on both sides of the line was outstanding. I liked the
gang tackling, and Dutton and Conteh had some nice holes. While not putting
a great amount of pressure on the QB, it was enough and our run defense
constantly clogged holes.
All and all, a fine day in Evanston, and 4,000 more at the first home
game than last year. Now let's go to Durham and beat the @#%$!*^ out of Dook!
One more thing. Dennis (TBNG) is the knower of all things told and
untold. He forecasted a 36-10 Cat win;' I saw 38-24; much more scoring. Way to go
buddy!

                GO CATS!!! Eric
