Pam is a very driven personality, which, given her short stature and very thin build can come off as a little "butch." Let us face it, she was one of the first females doing what is mostly done by males and is one of the female PBP'ers who is setting the standard rather than trying to live up to someone in the past.
That said, she was great to work with at the World Series, really knows her stuff, and was fun to talk with the night before the broadcast. Maybe it was because I was the "statmaster" for the series and had everything the broadcast team wanted, and more, but I hope she draws the series assignment again next year.
