[NU Sports] 2008 Football Predictions

I have been a bear on NU's hopes the past few years  and unfortunately have 
been mostly  right, but I think Fitz may now be close to hitting his stride and 
am predicting a winning season- for the Cats-,though I will say 7-5, as I 
think we will lose one NC game  tyhat we al think we should win (because we 
always do) and go .500  in conf--

On a separate note, I was at an Alumni function this weekend in the Bay Area 
and the host told me that NU was actually offered the Rose Bowl trophy from 
1996, because of ineligibilty disclosures from a few USC Players (What a 
surprise !!!) including Keyshawn--But Barnett turend it down saying we needed to win 
it on the field--Can anyone verify this ?
