By the way, I was able to confirm that I was wrong about Take a Kid to
the Game Day. That is the 9/13 game against Southern Illinois. It is
also Heroes Day (started after 9/11 to honor police, firefighters, other
first responders and the military), and Band Day.

Once again, I am offering up some of my football tickets to list
members. These are two of the best seats in Dyche/Ryan: 50-yard line,
row 39, on the East (sunny) side of the stadium. (Specifically, Sec
108, Row 39, Seats 18-19.) They include seat backs and a parking pass
is available. All will be sold for face value + $5 each for the seat
back. The parking pass is $20 per game if you want it. Available games
are:

8/30 vs. Syracuse (Face value: $28 = $66 for both tickets, incl seatback)
9/13 vs. SIU (Face value: $28 = $66)
11/8 vs. OSU (Face value: $36 = $82)
11/22 vs. Illinois (Face value: $36 = $82)

I'm not sure, but I suspect that the Syracuse game is Take a Kid to the
Game Day. In the past, each adult ticket also gets two kids under 13
into the game. It's a great way to take the whole family to the game!
But make sure you call the ticket office to be sure. I can't find a
reference to it on nusports.com or in my media guide, but that's not
uncommon.

All I ask is that you fill the seats with NU fans. Worst case, if you
have a friend who is an alum of the opponent and is up for some friendly
rivalry. Fellow listers Jim Bendat and Herman Wang can attest to the
seats; they have bought them in the past and Jim has already claimed a
game this year.

If interested, contact me at this e-mail address off-list.

Go Cats!

-Michael
