[NU Sports] Basketball

This Bears fan would like to see a Packer downturn also - but I have my doubts whether the Rex Grossman/Cedric Benson/no wideout Bears will be in any position to take advantage of that downturn.

If only they'd change the rules so that Devin Hester could return a kick on every play...

I agree with regards to KC, a city that hasn't had a lot to cheer about in
professional sports in a long time (though Chiefs fans are still rabid about
their team.)

However, Green Bay has 4 Super Bowl appearances and 3 championships, while
Pittsburgh has 6 Super Bowl appearances and 5 championships, so in the
modern era the Steelers have been a little more successful.

GB's last Super Bowl appearance was in the 1997-98 season (losing to Denver),
Pittsburth's last Super Bowl appearance was in the 2005-06 season (winning
against Seattle.)

With Favre retired, Green Bay may be in for a few rough years. This Bears
fan will not be completely upset about that. :-)
