Anybody see Kevin Mims on the sideline?

He was animated and involved throughout the game even if the stats don't show it.

He was playing pitch-and-catch with Bacher during the warmup standing next to Bacher catching the throwbacks.  Usually defense and offense are oil and water and they just don't mix.

He was encouraging the offense when they went on the field and congratulating/consoling them when they came off.

I am sure I missed other examples.

I think it is important to have the upperclassmen make a leadership statement and to me this is an example of that.

Btw I felt most "happy" coming out of this game than any other game this season, including our two wins.  Agreed every coach won't be as dumb as Carr, but I believe we are finally playing the way I expected when the season began.  For 3 quarters we held a lead and if the offensive line had not fallen apart in quarter 4 we would won with less suspense than normal victories.
