Does anyone have any questions why Lloyd Carr has not won more National Championships?

What a incredibly poor coach this man is?  Does he have an aggressive bone in his body?  He had a better team at 22 of 22 starting positions, Yet he "coached" his team to be trailing to a undermanned (yet inspired) NU team.

Carr has been a disgrace to the Big 10 for years.  How many National titles would Michigan have won in the last 10 years with an average coach? 3? 4?  They certainly would have played for 3 or 4.

I credit our team for playing hard today.  They truly seemed like they wanted the win and played for it.  We were 1-2 plays away from winning the game despite the turnovers.  I am disappointed we were not able to execute consistently.

But seriously, WHY WERE WE EVEN IN THE GAME??????  Carr clearly does not show his teams how to dominate or have any heart.  In the first quarter he is up 7-3 and calls run plays on the first and second down.  He could have put us away right there by throwing the ball.  We have some talent in the secondary, but rarely have we shown any pass rush.   How does he not throw more on us?  At the end of the 1st half - he was letting the clock run down before kicking the field goal.  He should have pulled his D on the field and said - make NU go 3 and out and use his timeouts to get the ball back and try to score again before half time.

As a football fan, I could barely watch the game today.  To watch a Michigan team that is so talented simply leave a hugely inferior opponent in the game was really hard to watch.

Would Michigan win more than 4 games a year in the SEC?  I think not.

Michigan - please do us a favor and fire Carr immediately so that this conference can get back to respectability.  I would rather see us lose 56-7 than get beat by an underachiever like Carr.
