[NU Sports] a thought

Sorry to say this, but players learn this on their Middle School Teams....

Its why some guys are 5 star defenders and others are 2 star defenders.

In our kiddy league [13U] we run several tackle drills all the time - almost
every practice - because that's what we preach, good tackling.

But it still takes our kids 2 or 3 years to learn it - turn up the speed and its
really too late when you get to Div I.

Hit - Wrap - Lift - Drive [to the dirt] is how you tackle, but you'd be amazed
at how many decent football players never figure it out. They're the ones who go
play only offense, usually.
