I suspect we do this already--and I am ok with it--If we can get an "on the 
bubble"  guy through school with tutors/summer school/etc etc, it is 
acceptable- Not everyone who gets accepted to NU has high academic numbers--NU like all 
top schools look for other top attributes as well --(thankfully)

What  would be un-accaptable, is if we knew there was a high probablity that 
we couldnt get a kid through school and we were just taking  a long shot 
chance on a kid because we knew he had great athletic talent
