[NU Sports] Groan!

I know we grope to find some convenient excuse for last night's  
embarrassment (whether the officials or an "undervalued" Duke  team).  I would wager 
better than even money Duke does not win  one ACC game this year.  The loss was an 
NU coaching failure.   Period.  Fitz shows his head coach inexperience.  Colby 
is a minor  league defensive coordinator.  McGhee is also inexperienced and 
his play  calling uninspired (especially in those last two drives near the Duke 
end  zone).  Our players deserve better.

Give them a  good FG kicker and last night's game might have been their 2nd

Also - any time you have 5 returning O-Linemen [and your  entire offense back]
they have to get better. They gave Lewis the time to  throw and he used it 
well.
And weren't a lot of throws down the sidelines?  No chance for INTs if you
overthrow.

We should have played better -  I don't know why we keep trying to play
non-conference night games anyway -  we didn't and now we have to bear the 
onus
heading into the conference  season...
