Zak and Baz BOTH had happy feet early in their careers as a starter (1st and early parts of their 2nd seasons as starters). Neither was particularly stellar at letting the play develop/rolling away from pressure and still making the play through the air early in their careers. If the idea is to work with CJ early in his 2nd season as a starter to NOT run when he's in trouble by calling designed short drop pass plays early in the game and then checking down to receiving options 3/4 to open up the run later in the game, then you have taught him how to stand in there and take the shot if he has to while also making the play AND not lock in on a particular receiver. He will learn it earlier in his career than his Senior year which is when both Kustok and Basanez seemed to catch on to that aspect of the game. I am not knocking either of CJ's predecessors, I am only stating what I consider to be an "obvious" fact (at least IMO) about their happy feet in their early careers.
