C. J., you are de MAN! But you have to pass better than that.
What an exciting game! Eric and I are both hoarse.
It shouldn't have been an exciting game. The DL was dreadful until the last
two plays when at LAST they got the first two sacks of the season. And big
ones they were. But it is not enough. Too many yards; too many points.
The DBs were beaten all day. The one INT was a very bad pass right to our
defender.
The OL was not a lot better. Two chances to run time off the clock and two
chances to get one yard, and they fail all three times. They could not pick
up blitzes.
The game plan was a puzzle, especially in the first half.
I see future wins against Duke and Eastern Michigan. All the rest are
impossible to doubtful to win unless that DL steps up BIG time like they did
in the last two plays. They are slow, slow, slow and cannot play off a
block.
Should I be ecstatic or depressed for the rest of the season?
