[NU Sports] First telecast...HUGE upset...BTN dropped the ball. And how about the name of a tackler once in a while...

Well, the game was fantastic (Mich - App St.), but boy did BTN handle the
end of that game poorly.

1) Nitpicking, but not a word about the late hit non-call when App. St. had
the ball and was driving at the end. In the NU game they were ALL late hits.
Considering that a late hit cost Michigan a shot at the National
Championship last year, you'd think they might have said something, like how
fortunate they were not to have an easy call missed.

2) No real setup for either final field goal attempt , had to find the
scoreline up top to see how far the FG attempts were...

3) ONLY ONE REPLAY OF THE FINAL BLOCKED KICK!

4) Since it's the Big Ten network, you would have thought MAYBE they could
show a reaction shot or two from the Michigan players. Nothing. They talked
about Hart all day and didn't cut to/have a camera on him at the end...or
Lloyd Carr...or the players on the field...NOTHING! One shot of a Michigan
fan looking forlorn. Bad. Very bad.

5) Don't know her name, but the sideline reporter likes to talk instead of
asking questions. Moment was WAY too big for her capabilities.

6) They cut to the winning coach WAY too fast. Not enough time for us, the
TV audience, to take in the moment.

On the plus side...it was their first game. I'm sure they'll figure it out.

BUT...what is it going to take to get OUR announcing team to tell us who
made the tackles!!!! Never heard them say a defensive players name once
right after a play. Aggravating!

Cheers!
