As is the case for every manager everywhere.  No doubt that the clock ticks louder and more impatiently in the Bronx than anywhere else, but it remains the pinnacle coaching position in American sports.  

If Joe Torre can get fired, so can Girardi.  In the meantime he actually gets to put on the pinstripes and do the job.  Guys like him focus on about how to succeed, not worrying about the day he gets fired.  I'd be more concerned for him if he hadn't been a Yankee and didn't know the score.  And I'd much rather get fired by the Yankees than by the Marlins...
