It would be great news for Joe and NU--He had problems in Florida because 
management there was too intrusive--He said at his interview that he thinks that 
he may have learned a few things from that experience to help him with the 
similar situation expected in NY--I believe a guy as smart as he is would have 
--though time will tell--and it is possible that with George's  mental health 
getting worse (or at least rumored to be so) his kids won't be as bad--

As a Red Sox fan (who is thrilled to have 2 titles in my lifetime, after 
waiting 40 years  for one,) I will not be able to root quite as hard against the 
Yankees with Joe not only being a  fellow alum but a fellow major (BSIE) 
--Everything you have ever heard about him is postive  (assuming you havent heard 
anything from Jeff Luria !)

As for A-rod----expect $30 MM  per year  from a rich team such as the NYM, 
Angels, or Dodgers--He is truly the best player in the game--though not sure why 
he couldnt be at the gamelast night to accept the award from Hank 
Aaron--maybe says somemthing about his lack of intangibles
