Thank you, Stephen, for adding Coach Walker to the list.  You summed  up his 
"era" perfectly.  He deserves that respect and that place in the  pantheon of 
'Cat coaches.  
 
Permit me to nominate someone I mentioned in an earlier post for at least  
"Honorable Mention" in the coaching category--Alex Agase.  He led us to  
successive winning seasons (Both 7-4 if memory serves and 6-1 in the  Conference), 
and a win over tOSU in '70 and '71, and was preceded and followed  by "Dark 
Ages" of NU football.  And from everything I have heard about him,  he was a class 
act.
