Unfortunately, I think Deante Battle has been Colby/Browned.  After four
years of being taught by those complete morons, he can no longer tackle
without giving up many yards after catch, he's slower than the other three
DBs on the field (the two safeties and Sherrick), and he is consistently out
of position, making it really, really easy for opposing quarterbacks to pass
all day on him.  He also has a scary propensity towards giving up the big
play.

Or, so it seems from inside the stadium.  Maybe he looks all-world on TV.
Or on paper.  To me, he's become a liability.

p.s.  on a positive note, Sherrick McManis is playing pretty well over on
the other side of the defensive backfield, at least to my untrained eyes.
