Interesting thread.  I might argue that Nate Strikwerda would be a better
choice at OL than Trai Essex--wasn't Strikwerda First Team All-Conference
his Senior year?  I never thought Essex fulfilled his potential at NU.

Also, I don't see how one cannot include Gary Barnett as the Head Coach.
With all due respect to Parseghian, GB accomplished more with less.

I graduated in 1993 so I have no idea who some of the players are like Tommy
Myers at QB, but at least you recognized Len Williams who without the
unspeakable person at RB would have be the first bowl team since 1949.

Tyrell still has a lot to prove to show up on the list.  Right now Lane is
closer to being on the list.

JW probably was the best pass catching RB we have ever had, but it is hard
to knock anybody but Tyrell off the list.

Here is one to chew on.  I did not include Otto Graham.  Too far back.  I
also excluded the convicted liar Mike Senters.  I could only find six
defensive linemen, which tells you something.  On the other hand, how I
would love right to see a 3-4 defense with Castillo in the middle flanked by
Dailey and Missouri and with Fitz and McGarigle in the middle flanked by
