That is still a pay cut from playing DT in the NFL.
And in the NFL, you don't have to get up at 4 AM to make the bucks either.
I suspect he could have a future in doing voice-over work, I have some
interviews that could get him two or 3 films a month, and the "voice" out there
in LA is getting older [you know - Lafontaine from the insurance commercial?]
But for every guy in Chicago making 7 figures, there are 30 guys making
considerably less. You can make more selling cars, or commercial real estate.
Remember, I'm a survivor of the radio wars.
If Barry C decides to go into the broadcast field, he's definitely in the right
place to do it - there's lots of voiceover work in NY.
