I believe Felicia Middlebrooks who does the morning news in WBBM makes 600K+, which I thought was absurdly high for reading local news, traffic, and lottery numbers as part of a team.

Roe Conn has a talk show on WLS and is above $1 million.

Maybe DJ was outdated, but given the fact that football careers are short he his voice could get him an after football gig that paid well above.
