[NU Sports] Uh Oh! BCS Poll Warnings (fwd)

A week ago watching the 1AM 'football wrapup' show on ESPN, I saw 45 
seconds of highlights from several games between unrated ACC or Big East 
teams, and maybe 15 seconds from the NU-MSU game.  

I didn't catch the 1AM show on Saturday because the Red Sox and Indians
were in extra innings, but about the only highlight I saw more than once
from the NU-Minny game before then was their touchdown in double-overtime 
and the failed two-point conversion.  

Somehow I suspect if there had been a 21 point comeback and 2OT game 
between Big East Also-Ran and Compass Point State, there would have 
been more highlights shown.  I saw far more highlights of OSU's drubbing 
of Nebraska, and that game was only available on pay-per-view.  

I'm looking forward to watching this week's game on ESPNU, which my
cable company does carry this year.  But I'm inching ever closer to
getting a dish and dropping all the premium channels from my cable
feed as well as a couple of converters.  (I also have a cable modem from 
them as a backup to my DSL connection, so I probably can't drop them 
completely.)
