[NU Sports] Uh Oh! BCS Poll Warnings

I'm also starting to believe that the lack of BTN distribution is really
starting to kill the Big Ten teams in terms of national attention. If NU's
last 2 games were on an ESPN affiliated network you bet more highlights
would have been shown across the country. But really, we'd be seeing many
more votes for Big Ten teams in the polls - instead many of the pollsters
are left in the dark and we don't see too many plays in the national
highlight reels (which probably have more impact than you would think/hope).
Of NU's first 9 games this year 7 have been on the BTN, 1 on ESPN, and 1 on
ESPNU (who has distribution almost as pathetic as the BTN). And the final 3
games look BTN-bound as well. For those who can't make it to the games that
equals a lot of TV sets tuned to other games.
