I am more in the camp that our poor D is more related to talent than the
defensive system, though probably likely both--and that Fitz has got to review
Colbtys performance

Having guys make the NFL (and start) doesn't necessarily tell you a whole
lot--All you need is one weak guy (particularly in the secondary),for a good
offesnse to be able exploit him--When you watch the other college games, you
realize how important speed is, and that the teams that don't have it in the
defense do the poorest on D--It always seems that we are missing speed for at least
one of the 4 spots at DB/safety--

Though having said that, someone needs to take a hard look at why we seem to
get burnt at the end the half as many times as we do--going 60 -70 yards
against us in a minute or so, seems like a cakewalk for our opponents--I do think
that we go into a prevent too early, and then seem to abandon it ---So Colby
should be called to task on his approach-

-But I also feel that in addition to lack of speed, we seem to lack depth as
well--and as any coach will tell you, the defense gets more tired than the
offense when on the field, so not being able to use a lot of subs hurts us as
well

Harry
