The Gators now have 2 losses (Auburn last week and now LSU, so I can't see how theyget back into National Title game picture.

I have to share my "MSU" game experience.  Heard 1st Half over Internet on WGN.  Then had to drive with my wife and son, David, from my home in Westchester County, north of NYC, 3 1/2 hours to Lewisburg, PA, so David could check out Bucknell a second time, for possible Early Decision application (alas, his SAT's fall short of bar for Wildcat status).  Anyway, I kept checking score of game on ESPN.com on my Blackberry and could not believe the see-saw battle.  When I finally hit "Refresh" one more time in OT and saw score posted as "final", I was jubilant.  This could be defining win for Fitz if we can build on it and somehow find a way to eke out 4 more wins.  I saw much of Illini and Wisky, and game in Champaign looks doubtful for us--a lot of aspeed and athleticism to handle--but except for Purdue, other games (even vs. Hoosiers) look winnable.

Stanford's win was amazing - great story and
encouraging to see a defense that was giving up 40 or
50 points a game hold #1 to 23 ... can we learn from
it?:)

Funny how I flipped to three different channels after
the game and all were discussing whether this was
bigger than AppState-Michigan. How quickly we move on
to the next "greatest" ... NU at ND 1995 still is #1
for my money.:)

And this LSU-Florida game is terrific. LSU was playing
with fire again and again on 4th down. Can't believe
they went for it on 4th down with 2:00 left instead of
kicking the FG and going for the tie. Wow! The danger
is that these two could meet again in the SEC title
game and the loser tonight could get even.

If the Gators hang on, are we going to see Florida and
Ohio State play for the national title yet again?

If everyone has a loss, though, this could get real
ugly around BCS time.:)
