[NU Sports] Classic, thy name is Northwestern ...

Just running through TiVo and found out that for the
third straight week, Northwestern will be featured on
Tuesday's Big Ten Network "Greatest Games" series.

After a bummer with last year's MSU game this week, we
return to the thrill of victory next week with the
2000 Minnesota game and Victory Right. Does it inspire
the goosebumps and chills of 2000 Michigan? No. But I
do remember throwing objects at my TV in disgust and,
while not turning it off, finding other work to do
during the game when yet another improbable purple
comeback paid off with an amazing finish.

Sadly, I think our streak ends the following week. I
can remember a wonderful NU-Purdue game in 1995 and
some slugfests during the later Walker years, but not
really one that fits into the greatest games mold.
