Let me also chime in and say the same about Joe Pa--Sure he isnt perfect,  
but how much better would college football be if more schools had Joe Pa's type  
coaches.
 
I remember as a Patriot fan growing up, he turned down fwhat was  then a very 
lucrative  proposal to be be coach and GM ,because he  preferred working with 
the kids at a lot less money--(turned out he probably  made a lot more 
sticking around , not to mention a lot more enjoyment)--I knew  from then on--he was 
tops---- He has been one of the classiest coaches out  there--He stands for 
all the good things Bob Knight does, but has few of his bad  traits (yes he can 
hound the refs)
