I don't think need for a new stadium--which is probably unrealistic anyway,  
both because of cost (prohibitive) and lack of venue anywhere near the campus  
that would work--is either the problem or the answer.  In fact, if we build  
anything, it should be new arena for hoops, which does really need it.
 
Let's face it, losing RW so suddenly and tragically has set back our  program 
for a number of years, which hopefully will only be two or three, as  Fitz 
gains seasoning, experience and maturity, and recruits "his" kind of  players.  
He is what we want the face of NU football to be.   Hopefully, not only will 
he be the face, but also the "head".   Unfortunately, unlike, for example Bret 
Bielema, he was not a Defensive  Coordinator when promoted, and didn't have 
time to be "groomed" in the manner  that Alvarez did with BB.  That was all 
going to be taken care of over the  next several years by RW, but God had other 
plans....
 
I like the way we played on Saturday, with passion and commitment.   
Hopefully, that will carry over the rest of the season, and we will pick up  enough 
"W's" to sneak into a weaker bowl game.  If not, we still should  have most of 
the key players back next year, albeit with a tougher  schedule.
