[NU Sports] AD Replacements

Where did this article say that he was looking for a job?
He is clearly highly respected among his peers. He just won an AD of the
year award. His teams have won national championships. He got a lot of
press for taking a risk in selecting PF as RW's replacement and helping
manage that whole transition. Isn't it just possible that someone he knows
thought of him when this job came open and gave him a call?
The reward for taking a risky high visibility position is that success is
going to attract the interest of other employers who are also looking for
people they can trust to be their face to the public.
It's a great job and he clearly has earned the opportunity to compete for it.
Why should this imply anything bad about him or NU?
Jeff

Maybe he will not get the job,

but of course then he is kind of a lame duck, just the fact that he was
looking shows the lack of commitment by NU to big time athletics.
