[NU Sports] Duke fires football coach Ted Roof

Needless to say, had NU not lost that game we could very well be looking at
getting our names rubbed out of the record books for consecutive losses.
They would have been at 32 straight and opening 2008 against us at home
before facing Navy to tie the streak and at Vanderbilt to set the record.

two days after the Blue Devils concluded a 1-11 season with their  ninth 
straight loss. After snapping a 22-game losing streak with a victory at  
Northwestern, the Blue Devils lost nine straight to end this season.
