What about Temple ? Oops, maybe Roy is right...

Everyone in northern Illinois receives their Bear fandom (as well as their
toddler-sized Urlacher jerseys) at birth, we can never hope to match that level
 of passion.

I will echo some earlier comments about horrible concessions, easily the
11th best in the league.

Traffic is an endless nightmare - McCormick Blvd has been torn up for a long
time, the Edens Expressway is (and will be) torn up for a long time, the
Tri-State Tollway has been torn up for a long time (ironically, to put in
high-speed oper road toll stations).

As someone who has been to a lot of our games at Michigan, I marvel at how
easily they can park and seat 106,000 people, and how hard it is for us to park
and seat 42,000. And leaving the Michigan parking lots is almost always a
good experience (including the many streets converted to one-way traffic
only).

Another factor might be our visibility - I like hearing what PF has to say,
but I generally only hear him for a few minutes before the game with Dave
Eanet, and a few minutes after the game with Ted Albrecht. Ron Zook, on the
other hand, seems to be everywhere on Chicago sports talk radio, once or twice a
week. And he was talking to those stations during the lean years, as well
as now. He is definitely (as his recruiting would indicate) a great salesman
for Illinois.
