[NU Sports] Attendance

As a long-time season ticket holder, I think a winning team will certainly help, but the game times are also very important. With many people having to travel from the edges of Chicagoland or other nearby cities, a season of 11:00 games is rough. After staying up late Friday night preparing food and supplies for the tailgate, I'm up at 5:00 AM every gameday to make the trek, but I have a difficult time convincing others to join me. I'm another vote for more 2:30 games.

<Sure, winning goes a long way towards filling seats and we've talked the
attendance issue to death, but the final 2007 numbers are definitely
discouraging and show that something needs to be done.
A great team is the best answer. Another is building a new stadium, even if
it isn't any bigger than Ryan-Dyche. Build it on campus, which makes it
easier for students to get there, and provide adequate parking. Take the
lake if necessary and screw the tree-huggers. Or in this case, the water
foul.
