[NU Sports] I see an 8th Bowl spot slipping away...

I suspect that Mr. Persa is probably the heir apparent, altho Kafka will be
given a shot as a Senior to make the O run. [let's see, he's one year behind
C.J., right?] However, we're actually set up pretty well at QB, one in each year
Red zone conversions usually are a function of O-Line and running back getting a
hole to make a move. You have to be willing to throw across the back of the end
zone, or into the corner to make that running inside happen - or you need a Noah
Herron type to tote the rock up the middle.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Fitz take on the DC responsibilities altho Randy
Bates has experience as a DC. Fitz does spend a lot more time on D than RW did.
Something he has to master as the head guy is reading the entire defense [and
offense] from both sides. I think he's getting better every week/every game.
What would be best is that NU makes a bowl, any bowl, so we can get the extra
practices. RW always stressed that the value of the bowl included getting ready
for next year. We could definitely use the work
