Excellent article and a good read - it had never
dawned on me that our elite academic status +
scholarships gave us that edge over the Ivies. Still
plenty of other east coast LAX powers to deal with
besides those eight, though.

One little omission, though, our softball team
advanced to the world series for a SECOND straight
year - after finishing runner-up last year!:)
