[NU Sports] Tipping Point Near ?

Back in the Barry Switzer days at OSU, you had to make a donation to the general
athletic department to get on the waiting list for the waiting list [no
kidding]!

At one point, one of the school Presidents hinted that it would be nice if they
had to make the donations to the school's general fund. That got as far as that
press conference and as far as I know the waiting list for the waiting list,
with its annual donation requirement, still exists.

As for prices, I don't know what the tipping point for games is - NU doesn't
fill Ryan now, so an increase is probably not justified, but charging more for
the extra game on the season tickets is.

If only all of the purple seat guys would show up at all the home games - it
actually might help recruiting....
