[NU Sports] Tipping Point Near ?

Just to be clear:
I'm not lobbying for PSLs, or any other such "innovations," for college
ball.
But there's been no cry to outlaw NFL PSLs -- though Dennis makes an
excellent point about taxpayer subsidies of many stadiums -- and so you
have to wonder when the concept will be fully extended to the college
game.

The day that college football even suggest seat licences, there will be
a massive outcry. Believe me, every representative, state and federal,
will be deluged with complaints, and they will act. As to pro seat
licenses, they, too, should be outlawed, especially given that the
community always foots at least part of the bill for these outlandish
stadiums. Take the tax money from the little guy to build the stadium,
but screw him when it comes to getting him a ticket.
