[NU Sports] Hollywood Comes to Ryan Field

Loved the article in the DAILY about the filming of the Ernie Davis biopic  
at Ryan (Dyche).  As the father of an about-to-graduate Syracuse U. student  
(my daughter, Lauren, who is a Senior in The S.I. Newhouse School of Public  
Communications--anybody here have a line on a magazine journalism gig for her?),  
I enjoyed the story about how Ryan is being "dressed up" to look like venues  
where 'Cuse played when the tragic Mr. Davis was their star.  What is most  
ironic is that NU and SU are starting a 4-year (2 Home/2 Away) gridiron series  
in 2008, I believe.  For those interested in where Ernie (and Jim Brown)

which gave way to the antiseptic Carrier Dome (where the Commencement will be  
held--it should be one giant microwave oven on May 13th, as it is not air  
conditioned, even though named for the Carrier Corporation, which formerly
