[NU Sports] NU Hoopsters to NBA?

Don Adams was indeed the guy. Would you believe I couldn't recall his name
because I was under the cone of silence all day?

Adams lived at the North Shore Hotel, which probably hasn't been a dorm for
NU for some time. He was a powerful rebounder. (Wonder if he has a son?
Or maybe it should be a grandson by now.) I was surprised at how many
points he scored in the NBA given that he was a defensive and rebounding
specialist. I was also amazed to see that Ron Kozlicki and Jim Burns played
some pro ball. I recall Burns being picked up, but I thought he was cut.

Isn't it ridiculous? NU has only fourteen NBA players in history, five of
whom only played one season, and not a star among the lot, although McKinney
was apparently a good assist man. Only he and Adams played any appreciable
number of years.
