The Detroit Free Press commenting on Amaker getting bounced claims that Michigan is t trying to run the basketball program on the cheap. The paper claims that the facilities aren't very good and also that Amaker had to get his own game films of competitirs while the other schools have a full library of game tapes. It also claims that Amaker had to pay for new carpeting in his office because the AD didn't want to spring for it even though it was worn out.
