[NU Sports] not a chance

There will be some major improvements behind the scenes at Welsh Ryan, in fact
some may already be done...I'm waiting for the NGN Auction to see what's
happening behind the wooden stands.
Anyway, DeChellis could really build PSU up with the talent he's got, then get a
major job. As with NU, he's probably a top shooter away from being competitive,
something that will get him noticed by another school looking for change.
The reason we haven't won over PSU twice in a season is that we play them
poorly, always have, and until we get that solid 3 point guy, will continue to
struggle.
I thought Craig Moore was that bomber, and maybe he's starting to get going -
I'd love to see the Soph Slump just go away in the tourney this week.
What killed us Saturday was the inability to get layups to go. Maybe some of it
was Landry in the middle but we've got to make the bunnies, and several of the
young players just couldn't get them to fall.
Anyway, next year is a big question mark. Doyle, Tolic and Scott [and to some
extent Kennedy] will be hard to replace. I'd go out on a limb and suggest that
we might see two Croats starting again next year, but its also possible the
lights will go on for our soon to be Juniors.
The two incoming frosh sound good, but the Chicago media sure doesn't talk much
about their exploits, at least what I've been able to find....
