If the Big 10 goes to twelve teams, will it then call itself the Big 11?

No more eastern teams in the Big 10!  To this day there is no sense of 
rivalry between Penn State and their midwest counterparts because joining 
the Big 10 has destroyed their traditional eastern rivalries, Pitt and 
Syracuse being the two most prominent.  The university wants the bucks, but 
ask the fans and I think you would see they would rather watch Pitt, 
Maryland, Virginia Tech, Boston College, and now Rutgers much more than 
Minnesota, Northwestern, etc.  (Ohio State and Michigan?  Sure.  In the 
pre-season.)  Add Notre Dame to the conference.  All you have to do is ask 
them, and they'll come begging.  (Sure!)  A conference championship would be 
a great addition to the schedule.
