Brad wasn't lying when he said Dan Persa looked  good.  I watched over half 
of the Big 33 game, and Persa was way too fast  for Ohio's defenders.  He threw 
10-12 times; only one throw was  uncatchable.  He rolls out quickly and is 
very decisive; credit  Pennsylvania's coaches installing an "NU friendly" spread 
offense that worked  well for Dan.
   A surprise:  The announcer (Scott Graham; an ex-Phillies  announcer) said 
that Persa chose NU over West Virgina as he expected to compete  for Bacher's 
spot this season. Maybe this was blather used to fill air time; I  think Persa 
has as much of a chance for the starting position this season as I  do. If 
Kafka has improved, I was thinking 'redshirt" for Mr. Persa.
   Nice shot of NU football in June. Less than 2 months until  Kenosha.  
After last year's sadness, I'm stoked for this season.
